LA FABRIQUE CINÉMA: in collaboration with the Cannes Film Festival, has opened the call for entries for its 18th edition, targeting first or second feature film projects—whether fiction, documentary, or animation—with a maximum budget of three million euros. The program prioritizes projects that do not yet have co-producers or that have, at most, a single associated co-producer.

DEADLINE: Until complete 180 projects or, September 29, 2026.

CINÉLATINO: The call for entries is open to feature-length, medium-length, and short films—including fiction, documentary, animation, essay films, and experimental cinema—by Latin American directors.

OJO LOCO FESTIVAL: The Grenoble Iberian and Latin American Film Festival is accepting submissions for its upcoming edition, scheduled for the spring of 2027. The call is open to feature films, medium-length films, and short films—spanning fiction, documentary, animation, and virtual reality—by directors and producers from Latin America, Spain, and Portugal.

DEADLINE: October 15, films in 2026 and January 1th, films in 2027.

FONDAZIONE PRADA: has launched the call for entries for the second edition of its film fund, an initiative designed to support projects from around the world across the development, production, and post-production stages. The program features an annual fund of €1.5 million to be distributed among up to 14 projects, with no restrictions regarding geography, subject matter, genre, or language.

DEADLINE: Production projects: September 10, 2026 and Post production projects: November 20, 2026.

FICG 2027: It has opened the call for entries for its 42nd edition (March 6–13), which includes competitions for Mexican, Ibero-American, and international feature films—spanning fiction, documentary, and animation—as well as the Maguey Award for works with queer/LGBTQ+ themes, the "Hecho en Jalisco" section, and the Socio-environmental Film Award. In the short film category, the festival will accept Ibero-American fiction and documentary works, international animated productions for the Rigo Mora Award, and works made in Jalisco.
